The Intelligent Front-Lighting System(IFS) allows the driver to travel in the vehicle with a high beam without the risk of glaring in vision of oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. This function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic controls which are turned up or dimmed down as required.

Center side airbags have been implemented in the front seats to prevent injuries that may arise in side collisions due to driver-passenger or occupant-object impact within the cabin. A total of ten airbags further protect all vehicle occupants, including advanced airbags for the driver and front passenger seats that detect the presence of a passenger and the severity of a collision to control deployment, side and curtain airbags for both the front and rear, and a driver's knee airbag.

Braking assistance is also applied when a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected when turning left at an intersection.
