Passengers are protected against collisions from all directions. The 10-airbag system includes advanced airbags in the front seats, driver’s knee airbags, center side airbags in the front seats, front and rear side-curtain airbags, and curtain airbags in case of rollovers.
BLIND-SPOT COLLISION-AVOIDANCE ASSIST
This system alerts the driver of approaching vehicles in the blind spot area when the driver activates the turn signals to change lanes or when the vehicle is exiting a parallel parking spot. This system warns the driver if a collision risk is detected from the left and right sides of the vehicle while reversing. If the risk increases even after the warning, it helps to stop the vehicle.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist
When leaving a parking spot at low speed, the car detects pedestrians and obstacles around the vehicle using a wide-angle camera and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential collision is detected, an alert sounds, and will apply the brakes to prevent contact.
