The Genesis Facade Commission invites an artist each year to create new site-specific works of art in the heart of New York at the facade niches of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The annual commission series establishes a welcoming and unique dialogue between the artist, The Met's audiences, as well as the broader global art communities. The 2024 exhibition, titled The Genesis Facade Commission: Lee Bul, Long Tail Halo, will feature new sculptural works by the preeminent artist Lee Bul.
